White-Tailed Doe and Fawns on Paynes Prairie

Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park in Micanopy, Florida

I was lucky to spot and photograph this doe and her two fawns from the observation tower at the main visitor center at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park in Micanopy, (southwest of Gainesville) Florida, this week. The two fawns appeared to be playing hide-and-seek.

“Where is My Brother?”
“I Think I See Him Hiding!”
“That’s Him For Sure!”
“I Caught You, Now YOU Run and Hide.”
“No! I’m hungry. I’m going to find Mama.”
“I really worked up an appetite!”
“Yum!”

I have many more photos of wildlife in the Wildlife section of my photo site at AllenForrest.com. I would love it if you would take a look!
