My Candid Photography

Vilano Beach, Florida, just north of St. Augustine at sunrise, a quiet coastal community, Vilano Beach is known for its sandy Atlantic shoreline and a fishing pier stretching into the Tolomato River.

Some of my favorite subjects for photography are people who are acting naturally and not posing for pictures. I particularly like to catch other photographers who are more intent on their subjects than what is going on around them. Here are some more of my favorites.

Terrific Stove!

“A photographer went to a socialite party in New York. As he entered the front door, the host said ‘I love your pictures – they’re wonderful; you must have a fantastic camera.’ He said nothing until dinner was finished, then: ‘That was a wonderful dinner; you must have a terrific stove.’ ”
