I ran into this video recently, and immediately (probably as a result of my advancing years) I love it!

From “The Texas Lovebirds” website  where you can read more about Donnalou and her band:

In the mid 90’s, DonnaLou was the main songwriter and co-creator of the outrageous musical, “The Cow Patty’s  (‘If ya ain’t herd us, ya ain’t herd shee-ut!’)  It was announced in May of 2019 that she is the 3rd place winner in the 2018 International Songwriting competition (19,000 entries). The song that won is the track from the viral music video, ‘Older Ladies’, which has been featured on the Today Show, Anderson Cooper, Fox Country, the Facebook Trend page and has nearly 17 million views on Youtube. Come see her newest creation, The Texas Lovebirds. You’ll be glad you did!

Here is her hit video, “Older Ladies.”  Even if you’re not as old as I am, you will probably get a kick out of it!

If you do check out her website, be sure to listen to her recordings including “Love Me Like My Dog Does.”

After retiring from the United States Navy, I had a second career as an accountant. Now, I am a seasonal tax preparer. My main hobby is digital photography, and I love to travel around the southeastern United States with my cameras. Most of my photography consists of nature, travel, landscape, historical, and architectural subjects. My wife, Helen, and I grew up in Quincy, Massachusetts. We moved to the Jacksonville Beach, Florida, area in 1970 when the Navy stationed me at Mayport. We have three daughters, six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and two Sheltand Sheepdogs.
