When Asahel Stodder was born on 25 October 1757, in Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States, his father, Reuben Stodder, was 30 and his mother, Elizabeth Glover, was 23. He married Mary Vinal on 17 November 1782, in Hingham, Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 1 daughter. He died in June 1822, at the age of 64.
